The City of Thomasville invites the community to a Public Open House for the Comprehensive Plan Five-Year Update on March 2 from 5-7 pm at the Municipal Building, 144 East Jackson Street. City staff will review the Comprehensive Plan's implementation since its adoption in 2018, and attendees will have an opportunity to provide feedback that will influence the Plan's priorities for the next five years.
In addition to the Open House, other scheduled events for community feedback include focus group sessions and a community survey. Session topics include economic development, housing and neighborhoods, and local culture and character. The community survey is open until March 10 to gather feedback and confirm community expectations for the next five years.
