CITY OF THOMASVILLE COVID-19 RESPONSE UPDATE

The City of Thomasville has announced changes to operational procedures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Effective Thursday, January 6, 2022, the City Administrative Building will be temporarily closed to the general public. Other City buildings will remain open. CITY COUNCIL APPROVES ALLOCATION OF CARES FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES

The Thomasville City Council recently approved the allocation of Federal Coronavirus Aid & Relief Economic Security Act (CARES) funding to the Community Outreach Training Center (COTC) to address COVID-19 related relief services for citizens of Thomasville. The Thomasville City Council met for a called meeting via teleconference on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. The agenda for the meeting included a resolution of emergency that authorized the first and second reading of an amendment to the ordinance that declared a local state of emergency that was passed on March 25, 2020.
