ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR REMINGTON AVENUE AND DAWSON STREET INTERSECTION

Contractors are scheduled to begin upgrading the stormwater drainage system at the intersection of Remington Avenue and Dawson Street beginning on Wednesday, January 5th. The work is scheduled to take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and is expected to last six weeks. There will be a road closure at the intersection of Remington Avenue and Dawson Street while the work is being completed. TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURE ON CAMPBELL STREET

City of Thomasville Public Works crews will begin repairing a storm drain pipe at the railroad tracks located near the intersection of Campbell Street and Fleming Street on Monday, November 8th. The work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. and is expected to last one day. The westbound lane on Campbell Street from Fleming Street to Parnell Street will be temporarily closed to through traffic while the work is being completed. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE FOR JUNIUS STREET

Contractors are scheduled to begin installing a stormwater drainage pipe across the 100 block of Junius Street beginning Monday, November 8th. Additionally, patchwork is planned for both the excavated section of the roadway and the damaged section near Gordon Avenue. The work is scheduled to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and is expected to last two to three days.
