CITY COUNCIL APPROVES SIGN ORDINANCE

During regular session on Monday, April 12th, City Council approved on second reading an ordinance to amend the Code of the City of Thomasville regarding sign regulations. The ordinance includes modifications requested by City Council to the draft approved by the City of Thomasville Planning and Zoning Commission and originally recommended for consideration to Council in October of 2020. On Monday, October 5th, the City of Thomasville Planning and Zoning Commission approved a final draft of a proposed new sign ordinance. Thomasville’s Planning and Zoning Commission will hold an additional public workshop next week that is focused on reviewing the proposed draft of a new sign ordinance.
