EMERGENCY TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ON REMINGTON AVENUE

City of Thomasville utility crews will be working on Remington Avenue between Hansell Street and Reid Street on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 to repair a water main. Work will begin at 7 pm and occur between the hours of 7:00 pm and 6:00 am. A detour map can be found here. Contractors are scheduled to complete sidewalks and road striping at the intersection of Remington Avenue and Dawson Street on Monday, February 28th. They will be constructing the remaining concrete sidewalks, striping four crosswalks, and striping turn lanes.
