NEW THOMASVILLE POLICE SUBSTATION OPENS IN DOWNTOWN THOMASVILLE

A new Thomasville Police Substation recently opened in Downtown Thomasville. The substation is located in the Thomasville Municipal Building and staffed by Officer Joey Blackburn. The City of Thomasville Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, January 16, 2023, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ON GORDON AVENUE BETWEEN MIMOSA DRIVE AND JUNIUS STREET

City of Thomasville Utility Crews will replace a sewer line in the 900 block of Gordon Avenue between Mimosa Drive and Junius Street beginning Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Work is expected to last three (3) weeks. Both lanes will be temporarily closed in the work zone allowing local thru traffic only. CITY OF THOMASVILLE ANNOUNCES HOURS OF OPERATION CHANGES AT LANDFILL

The City of Thomasville has announced changes to the hours of operation at the Thomas County-Thomasville Municipal Solid Waste Landfill. Effective January 1, 2023, the landfill, located at 88 Landfill Road, will no longer be open on Saturdays. Weekday hours will remain the same, with the landfill open from Monday through Friday from 7 am – 5 pm.
