CITY HOSTS REMINGTON AVENUE STREETSCAPE OPEN HOUSE

In June 2019, the City of Thomasville began the process of creating an improvement plan for one of Thomasville’s most important roadways, Remington Avenue. The final concept design received approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission in August 2019 and the Thomasville City Council voted in September 2019 to complete the engineering and design phase of the project. LETTENEY NAMED TPD CHIEF

Thomasville City Manager Alan Carson has named John Letteney as the new Police Chief for the Thomasville Police Department. Letteney will assume the post as Chief of Police on January 11, 2021.
