TEMPORARY LANE & ROAD CLOSURES ON EAST PINETREE BOULEVARD

Contractors will begin raising valves to accommodate the new pavement along East Pinetree Boulevard between East Jackson Street and the railroad tracks on Monday, March 28. Lane closures will be necessary in order to provide a safe zone for construction workers performing the road work. The lane closure is expected to begin at 7:00 am and end at 5:00 pm. TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURES ON SMITH AVENUE

Contractors will begin constructing stormwater catch basins on both sides of Smith Avenue to improve drainage at the Dawson Street intersection. Both the East and West bound outside lanes will be closed in order to provide a safe zone for the construction workers. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO TREE TRIMMING

Arborists will be trimming trees around the historic courthouse, located at 225 North Broad Street, from March 18 – March 20. This work is scheduled to take place from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. LANE CLOSURE FOR SMITH AVENUE NEAR DAWSON STREET INTERSECTION

Contractors plan to close the eastbound lane of Smith Avenue near the intersection of Dawson Street beginning Tuesday, March 8 to construct a catch basin to improve drainage at the intersection. The work is scheduled between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm and is expected to last ten days.
