Contractors are scheduled to begin a road improvement project along East Pinetree Boulevard, between East Jackson Street and the railroad tracks, that is expected to last approximately six days. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ON WEBSTER STREET

City of Thomasville Utility crews are scheduled to begin repairing a wastewater main along Webster Street between Dawson Street and Crawford Street on Wednesday, February 9th. Detective Lisa Maxwell, a crime scene investigator with the Thomasville Police Department (TPD), received the 2021 Top Forensic Examiner Award by the United States Secret Service (USSS). The Thomasville Police Department (TPD) recently welcomed a new member to their family. Apollo, a two-year-old German Shepherd, is the latest K-9 recruit assigned to serve and protect the Thomasville community.
