EMERGENCY TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR GLENWOOD DRIVE BETWEEN EAST WALCOTT STREET AND FONTAINE DRIVE

City of Thomasville Water Department staff will begin repairing a water service line on Glenwood Drive between East Walcott Street and Fontaine Drive on August 31, 2022. The work is expected to begin at 9 am and last five hours. There will be a temporary road closure on Glenwood Drive while the work is being completed. LABOR DAY CITY SERVICE SCHEDULES

The City of Thomasville Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, September 5, 2022 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Due to the holiday observance, some City services will be affected. City service schedules will be as follows: Utilities Response Center Regular 24-hour operational schedule. They can be reached by calling 229-227-5499. TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURE AFFECTING WEST JACKSON STREET

City of Thomasville Gas Department crews will begin work on West Jackson Street near Industrial Boulevard on Monday, August 29, 2022 to install a new service line. THOMASVILLE FIRE RESCUE CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY OF 9-11 WITH MEMORIAL STAIR CLIMB

It’s been over 20 years since the September 11 attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Stonycreek Township, Pennsylvania that caused the deaths of over 3,000 people, including 343 firefighters, 63 police officers, and eight emergency medical technicians.
