TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - N. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DRIVE BETWEEN ALEXANDER STREET AND FELIX STREET

As part of the 2021 CDBG project, City of Thomasville construction contractors will make water main improvements on N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between Alexander Street and Felix Street. Work will begin July 27, 2023 at 8 A.M. and last two (2) days. In order to complete the water main improvements, there will be a temporary road closure on N. CITY RECEIVES $750,000 GRANT FOR INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp recently recognized the City of Thomasville as one of 60 Georgia communities that will receive a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). In 2021, CDBGs with a combined total of $43 million have been issued throughout the state.
