CITY CELEBRATES LEGACY OF LT. HENRY O. FLIPPER

On March 17th at 12 noon, the City of Thomasville and the West Point Society of Tallahassee will host an event at the Flipper Cemetery that will unveil a new bronze burial marker for Lt. Henry O. Flipper and granite markers for his parents. TEMPORARY STREET CLOSING - REMINGTON AVENUE

Remington Avenue from Bennett Street to Hansell Street will be temporarily closed to thru traffic beginning Saturday, March 4, 2017. BRICK REPAIRS CONTINUE ALONG WEST JACKSON STREET

Beginning Monday, February 20, 2017, the City of Thomasville will resume repairing the brick pavers on West Jackson Street from South Madison to Stevens Street. CITY OF THOMASVILLE AWARDED GMA LIABILITY MANAGEMENT GRANT

The City of Thomasville was recently awarded a Liability Grant in the amount of $7,790 from the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA).
